Duke Energy is looking to replace an existing failing box culvert. The
existing culvert is adjacent to a fishing platform that is currently being
constructed downstream of the Blewett Falls Dam in Anson County.
The existing culvert will be replaced by a round concrete pipe. It will
include concrete end walls at each invert and minimum riprap outlet
protection at the downstream end. Minimum riprap protection will
prevent additional erosion of the downstream channel.
