NCDOT proposes to replace the existing functionally deficient bridge
on SR 1315 (New Town Rd) at East Fork Twelve Mile Creek with an
improved bridge. STV Engineers is providing planning, design and
Section 404/401 services on behalf of Division 10; a MCDC has been
prepared; a delineation of waters of the U.S. has been completed -
jurisdictional waters of the U.S. within the study area include East
Fork Twelve Mile Creek, an unnamed tributary, and three wetlands; a
NRTR was prepared by Rummel Klepper and Kahl, LLP. The
proposed bridge replacement will include an approximate 0.9-mile
offsite detour; the project has a Let date of September 17, 2021.
