13 -0030 Bass Lake Outfall Greenway
AML comments
January 27, 2013
1. Please provide full -size plan sheets showing the entire greenway project with its storm drainage
system, including every conveyance swale and outlet. Per the Neuse Buffer Rule (15A NCAC
2B .0233), stormwater may be discharged into an existing drainage ditch provided that the
additional flow does not erode the ditch or it may be allowed to sheet flow off the trail without
the use of a conveyance swale. Any new discrete stormwater discharge that is not directed into
an existing drainage ditch must meet diffuse flow requirements per Chapter 8 of the BMP
Manual.
