Ms. Homewood—here is the detail you requested. I'm still waiting for Virginia on the buffer approval. Would you also
like to me send a letter and a hard copy for your record? Thanks -j

Hey Joey,
I didn't include my previous email comment about overlapping wetland and buffer because it
really involves Virginia's review not mine.

Thanks Sue - I will check that map to see. I will also follow up with Virginia to see if there is any additional
info the city needs in regard to authorizing the buffer impacts -j

Joey,
To follow up on my phone call yesterday about buffer approval, I looked at the
plans. On Sheet 6 it looks like there may be some overlap between a wetland and
the stream buffer. The Jordan Buffer Rules 15A NCAC 02B .0267(4), the rule
applies to activities within 50 feet of surface waters, excluding wetlands.
I couldn't tell if you "double counted" wetland impacts and buffer impacts which
is unnecessary. Basically anything within 50 that is wetland should be called out
as wetland and not impacted buffer. If you modify Sheet 6 to address this please
send me a copy.
I will be sending a letter requesting additional info as we talked about and will
add this to it, plus a couple other minor items. I just wanted you to have this info
before you talk to Virginia.
