SFR Non -discharge Permit No. WQ0032827 Brunswick County Dear Permittee: The North Carolina Division of Water Resources conducted an inspection of the 397 West Ranch Rd. SFR on 4/16/2021. This inspection was conducted to verify that the facility is operating in compliance with the conditions and limitations specified in Non -discharge Permit No. WQ0032827. The findings and comments noted during this inspection are provided in the enclosed copy of the inspection report entitled "Compliance Inspection Report". The Division of Water Resources appreciates the time and assistance provided by Mr. Bill Waterman and Mrs. Peggy Waterman. As noted in the attached report, your facility was found to be in compliance with the requirements and documentation required by the permit. He performs most of the maintenance/upkeep to the system. Steve is an engineer that helps him with the system occasionally. System was very clean and had recently been pumped. Has generator on site for hurricanes. Alarms are functioning and work inside house as well. Reminded permittee to keep maintenance log when chlorine tabs are checked, changed, and when system maintenance is required. Permittee stated that logs were lost in Hurricane Florence, but he provided receipts of maintenance and work completed. Field has good coverage and is well maintained. The high water alarm was tested 2 weeks before inspection. Few weeds, but the homeowner mows the area frequently to keep it maintained. No ponding observed. Fence was in good condition.
