SUBJECT: NC Wildlife Sawpit Landing BAA Minor Modification, Pender County
The Division of Water Quality (DWQ) has reviewed the proposed minor modification document.
The DWQ will have no objection to stabilizing the shoreline with riprap adjacent to the boat
ramp, thereby impacting an additional 198 sq ft of open water and adding a concrete pad to the
normal high water line under the authorized floating dock. The conditions of the original 401
Certification, dated July 20, 2012, are still valid and must be adhered to.
