A copy of the comment received and our response is provided below. 1. Explain how impacts within the easement/corridor to Zone I are designated as "temporary". If these areas will be revegetated, provide planting plans. The permanent impact to Zone 1 will be the result of the permanent maintenance access corridor. Typically, this corridor will be 15' wide over the proposed utility. Areas that are within the construction corridor, but outside the permanent maintenance corridor were designated as temporary impacts. Clearing and excavation will be performed in these areas as needed to install the proposed utilities. After construction is complete the riparian buffer will be restored by planting various shrubs. A detail providing a planting plan for typical riparian buffer restoration at stream crossings has been added to the plans and is enclosed for your review.
