I am proposing using dry stack rock on the portion to left of the house (as viewing from the front). The dry stack wall tapers down in vertical height in this area from 4 foot to 1 foot ,but only for a short distance approximately 15 foot long. I would think by using dry stack along this tapering footage the wall would be much stronger to the wave actions and thus be a better c hoice. If I end the dry stack wall abruptly in the water line versus tapering the wall to the area above the water line it would make the wall weaker and subject to wave a ction erosion behind the wall.By running the entire length I can terminate the wall beyond the high water line and e liminate the possibility of wave action erosion from getting beh ind the wall. Thanks again for your attention on this matter, Glen Parker ----- Original Message ----- From: Wilson, Susan A To: Glen/Patti Parker Sent: Tuesday, December 11, 2012 10:16 AM Subject: RE: Glen Parker Addittional Information Mr. Parker – did you say you considered doing rip/r ap on a portion of the left side as you are facing the house? Or are you still wanting to do dry stack & rip/rap for the full 130 ft.? Thanks – just wasn’t sure from the info you submitted back. Susan Susan A.
