Hi Amanda and Andrew,
I have reviewed the information sent to me about the revisions to the T-072 Replacement Project, which
involves additional impacts of 1 culvert on an unnamed tributary (UT) to Boring Mill Branch, 1 culvert on UT
to Pond Branch, and relocation of an already permitted culvert on Pond Branch, resulting in 65 ft of permanent
stream impact, 147 ft of temporary stream impact, 0.018 acres of permanent wetland impact, and 0.02 acre of
temporary wetland impact in Buncombe County.
The project should not impact wild trout reproduction and a trout moratorium is not needed for this project
revision. Please refer to my comments on the original permit application, dated 8/3/2020, attached. Thank you
for allowing me the opportunity to review this project.
