Charles,
I appreciate your returning my call today and answering questions concerning our
permit renewal requirements Our Senior Chemist attended Lab Technology Day in
Raleigh recently and returned with clot of information and questions!
To follow-up our conversation today, we will continue to monitor Priority Pollutants

Permit Renewal Requirements
and second species toxicity once a year, seasonally, with our regular effluent
toxicity testing. This should ensure that we have the required number of each tests
completed for the Permit Renewal Application. Results from the Priority Pollutant
Scan will be attached to the appropriate DMR rather than reported on the EPA Form
used in the past. Muddy Creek WWTP's effluent mercury will be analyzed by EPA Method
245.1 and Archie Elledge WWTP's effluent will be analyzed by the low level method
1631 as required by the Permit.
Thank you again for taking time to answer my questions.
Sincerely,
Carol
