On May 31, 2007, the Express Review Program of the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) received your application
for the above referenced project. The DWQ has determined that your application will require additional information.
Please provide the following information so that we may continue to review your project and prevent denial of
your application as required by 15A NCAC 2I=I.0506:
1. Please provide a site plan of the pre-development conditions as required by the PCN Application.
2. Please provide a site plan of the proposed lot layout as overlays. All proposed plats must be developable
without further impact to jurisdictional streams, wetlands, or protected riparian buffers.
Diffuse Flow Provisions as required by the Neuse Riparian Buffer Rule:
a. All proposed level spreaders must be designed according to the DWQ Level Spreader Design
Guidance (January 1, 2007). Your proposed timber level spreaders are not acceptable.
b. Please provide details on your pre-treatment method (i.e. vegetated Swale details, supporting
calculations, etc.).
c. Please provide details on your bypass method (typical details and supporting calculations).
d. Please revise the level spreader length you have proposed for Lot 44 Cadenza Lane as it is too short.
e. Please include construction notes/instructions for installation of the level spreaders.
Please respond within five (5) days of the date of this letter by sending three (3) copies of this information. The Express
Review Program is a process that requires all parties to participate in a timely manner.
