Yes, we meet with Alan Thornton and their engineer, John Eick. They told us that
they expect to have an agreement with Harnett County finalized by the fall. The
Swift WWTP may or may not be part of the deal. One of the Swift buildings was
purchased by a developer group and if they find a high water user to ocupate the
building, they may need to operate the Swift WWTP. We are going to proceed with the
renewal of the permit, to issue it in Erwin's name. The limits need to be changed
too since the permit has textile guideline limits. I hope to have it ready for
public notice on July 20.
We also talked about the moratorium letter that we sent them recently. They provided
a response and Dawn Jeffries is going to handle it. They said there is money for I/I
repairs and it can be transfered to the county.
