Land Application of Residuals
Town of Taylorsville, Alexander County
The Mooresville Regional Office (MRO) received and reviewed the 2020 Annual Report (AR) for the
above permit. The report indicates that land application occurred on five program permitted fields on a
total Land Application area of 73.7 acres.
All analytical data appears to be present. The report indicates the program is in compliance with the
permit for the Class B residuals.
The Sodium Absorption Ration (SAR) value was presented in the AR. While the SAR value appears to be
correct. The formula with the populated values was not presented in the AR. It would be helpful as part
of the AR review if this formula had the values populated in the calculation for SAR.
