The subject facility is permitted under NPDES Permit Number NC0069523 to discharge 0.050 MGD to
Clear Creek which is Class C waters in the Yadkin -Pee Dee River Basin (Sub basin 03-07-12). The
current permit became effective November 1, 2018 and expires on October 31, 2023. At time of
inspection effluent into Clear Creek was clear with no visible suspended solids.
Review of compliance history for 12 month period in 2020 found facility had two (2) Notices of Violation
for Monthly Average Flow on 02/2020 reporting 0.063 MGD and 05/2020 reporting 0.065 MGD. One (1:
Notice of Deficency issued for Flow Limit violation on 01/2020 reporting 0.055 MGD. The yearly
average flow for calendar year 2020 is 0.037 or 74% of 0.050 MGD. Peak Daily Maximum Flow
reported: 01/2020 - 0.113 MGD, 02/2020 - 0.155 MGD, and 05/2020 - 0.169 MGD.
Bio solids are removed to Crooked Creek WWTP for final disposal by land application under Permit
WQ0007486 and South Carolina land application Permit #ND0089004.
