On April 10, 2013, I inspected the construction work on NC Highway 28 in Macon County. Construction
continues along the southern half of the project with grading, shoulder work and paving.
Please ensure that all sediment and erosion control structures are maintained and that seeding and mulching are
performed as needed to protect downstream waters. A copy of the inspection report is attached to this letter.
