This permit is issued pursuant to the requirements of North Carolina General Statute 143-215.1 and the_Nlemoranduna of Agreement between North Carolina and the U.S. Environmental protection Agency dated i lay 9, 1994 (or as subsequently amended). This final permit includes one major changes from the draft permit sent to you on April 14, 2004: The proposed 'total Residual Chlorine (1 RC) limit and monitoring for TRC have been deleted. This monitoring is unnecessary,given the presence of UV disinfection at your facility. If any parts, measurement frequencies or sampling requirements contained in this permit are unacceptable to you, VOL] have the right to an adjudicatory hearing upon written request within thirty (30) days following receipt of this letter. Page 3 or 3 Version 12/02 SLUDGE MANAGEMENT PLAN TABERNACLE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (NC0040908) Our wastewater operators monitor the wastewater treatment daily and check the scum blanket and sludge depth. When needed the sludge is pumped by a local septic tank service; currently Vann Boys Septic Tank Service. The sludge is then taken to the City of Asheboro's treatment plant for further decomposition.
