Our grease interceptor is pumped once a year in June/July after school recesses for summer. Our aeration basin/clarifier is generally pumped 3-4 times a year as needed. Our equalization basis is stable and does not need to be pumped. It is monitored. As a Class 2 facility, we are on-site 5 days per week and closely monitor for any additional pumping needs. Our surface sand filter is raked weekly, weather permitting. J. H. Bivens, Director of Maintenance Rowan Salisbury Schools "Maximizing Learning for Maximized Success"
