The Division of Water Quality (DWQ) has reviewed the report dated December 17, 2012
detailing supplemental planting activities at the above - referenced site, submitted by the LPA
Group. The planting activities were conducted to achieve the performance standard of 320 stems
per acre as required in 15A NCAC .02B .0260 (9)(d)(ii).
We look forward to receiving followup monitoring reports following the 2013 and 2014 growing
seasons, and hope vegetation survival is sufficient to meet the required stem density for project
closeout.
