Attached is the DWQ 401 application and $240 application fee. The goal in this proposed shoreline
stabilization project is to prevent further erosion through construction using appropriate rip -rap, non-
woven filter fabric and fill with natural logs and brush. This is to be accomplished without the loss of any
trees and minimal trimming of shoreline vegetation.
The project is timed to coincide with DWQ Project # 2012 -0994 on lot #20 (Kenyon W. Murphy) using
the same contractor and access area, thereby minimizing disturbance to shoreline and surrounding
areas. Also the rip -rap stabilization will tie into the project on lot #20 and my existing rip -rap under
existing steps and Duke dock permit #0261.
We believe that the proposed stabilization project is consistent with applicable standards and would
