Hi Amy,
Here is the updated NCEEP letter for the P -5206A project. I see that you are indeed not on the original recipient list. I'm sorry that I did not notice it before.
I have also contacted the engineer in charge of the permit drawings and discussed our conversation. I will forward you the revised impacts as soon as I receive
them.
Happy Holidays and safe travels!

Ryan and Beth,
John Thomas is fine with the EEP acceptance letter as soon as we have the correct the HUC (0304103,
Beth, please make the correction and fax the letter to John and email to us all. Thanks.
Ryan, following the EEP acceptance letter, and as a part of the permit, there will be a Compensatory Mitigation Responsibility Transfer Form which will contain
the impact amount and the mitigation amount. This form will be signed by USACE and EEP will then sign it. You will have a copy of it to be included as part of
the permit. This is a new USACE process.
Please let me know if I can be of assistance or if you have further questions.

Hey Beth,
/hope that all is well. We were contacted by John Thomas of the USA CE per the EEP letter that we submitted with the NWP application.
If you recall, the stream and wetland quantifies shown in the EEP letter matched the impact quantifies and not the mitigation necessary. The mitigation
requirements (221 linear feet of stream and 0.22 acre wetland) should be shown in the letter and not the impact amounts as are currently shown (221 feet of
stream and 0.11 acre wetland). Also, he noted that the HU listed in the EEP letter (03040105) is incorrect. It should be 03040103.
John has requested that the EEP send him a new mitigation acceptance letter with the correct HU and mitigation requirements.
John also noted that he did not see any other issues with authorizing the UP, but the sooner we can get him the updated letter, the better.
Sincerely,
Ryan L. White, P.E.

This mitigation acceptance letter replaces the mitigation acceptance letter issued on December 4,
2012. This impact and associated mitigation need were under projected by the NCDOT in the 2012 impact data.
EEP will commit to implement sufficient compensatory stream mitigation credits to offset the impacts associated
with this project as determined by the regulatory agencies using the delivery timeline listed in Section F.3.c.iii of the
N.C. Department of Environment and Natural Resources' Ecosystem Enhancement Program In -Lieu Fee Instrument
dated July 28, 2010. If the above referenced impact amounts are revised, then this mitigation acceptance letter will
no longer be valid and a new mitigation acceptance letter will be required from EEP.
