The proposed shoreline stabilization project has been reviewed by this Office and the following Water Quality
comments are provided:
Site 1 Stabilization of existing stormwater outfall. (No Comments)
Site 2 Stabilization of existing stormwater outfall.
Recommendation — It is recommended that where conditions allow that stormwater conveyance ditches
be vegetated to stabilize ditch banks, reduce erosion, reduce sediment movement, and give stormwater
treatment before entering receiving waters.
Site 3 Existing riprap to be refaced with larger riprap for shoreline stabilization. (Impacts are existing, No
Comments)
Site 4 Existing riprap to be refaced with larger riprap for shoreline stabilization. (Impacts are existing, No
Comments)
Site 5 Existing riprap to be refaced with larger riprap for shoreline stabilization. (Impacts are existing, No
Comments)

Hurricane Irene storm damage repairs at seven locations. Five sites are adjacent to the Pasquotank River.
