1. Please insure that all wet detention ponds (both existing and proposed) are designed per the NC
DWQ Best Management Practices Manual, available on the NC DWQ web site at:
http://portal.ncdenr.org/web/wg/ws/su/bmp-manual. Wet detention ponds are covered in Chapter
10. Please pay particular attention to the Minimum Design Elements on pages 10 -2 of the
chapter.
2. Please provide a BMP Supplement Form for each wet detention pond (both existing and
proposed) that is being used or will be used on the site. Be sure to include both worksheets of the
BMP Supplement Form, Design Summary and Required Items Checklist, as well as all of the
required items. The BMP Supplement Forms are available on the same web site given in Item (1)
above.
