Public Notice; Water Quality Certification for 1-26 and Old Howard Gap Drainage Repair; DWR #20210627v.1; Polk County PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that on 04-20-2021 NC Department of Transportation Highway Division 14 (253 Webster Road, Sylva, NC 28779) applied to the NC Division of Water Resources (DWR) for a 401 Individual Water Quality Certification, pursuant to Section 401 of the Federal Clean Water Act and Title 15A NCAC 02H .0500. The activity for which this certification is sought regards oil and gas utility line activities. The DWR's proposed date of final action on the application is 05-23- 2021. Written comments on the application described above must be received by DWR no later than 5 p.m. on 05-23-2021.
