Thank you for the follow up i6th Roberto on my request. I shall begin drafting the Purchase Agreement (Agreement) and
1611 complete the section referring to NCDENR's approval when you receive conformation from Roberto in the form of a
letter or other suitable correspondence that you and he are comfortable i6th, confirming the amount of mitigation
required.
Once the Agreement is executed by PNG and we are in receipt of the Agreement and payment in full, I i6ll electronically
send you a "Proof of PaN -went" document and a copy of our Bank's NCDENR Ledger, indicating the i6thdraival of the
buffer credits for PNG.
In all past credit purchase transactions, when you send a copy of the "Proof of Payment" document to the regulator-
agency (Roberto), that i6ll satisfy your mitigation requirement in accordance i6th their issued permit.
If I can be of an -\- assistance, to expedite compliance i6th your mitigation needs, please contact me.

Was plowing through old e -mails and came across this one. I just took the purchase of buffer credits as a given. The
answer is "yes" the project will still require buffer mitigation. Sorry if there was any mix up. If you should have any

Good morning Roberto — I received your revised 401 this week — thanks again for the quick turn - around.
I did notice one thing: your letter did not specify that PING was required to purchase the 2,286 credits of riparian buffer
mitigation. Was this just an oversight, in which case PING will go ahead and purchase them, or did you make a
determination that these were not necessary for this project? Just your email confirmation will be fine either way, and
I'll pass the info on to PING.
