Replace the existing NC 87 bridge over the stream,which will also require relocating existing utilities.

The existing 61 foot long,29 foot wide,3-span structure will be replaced on the existing alignment.The new bridge will be 70 feet long and and a minimum 42-foot 10-inch clear roadway
width.Standard roadbuilding equipment will be used.Aerial power lines and an underground fiber optic cable need to be adjusted along the project(see attached utility narrative).
