Residual chlorine, settleable solids and pH are analyzed on -site while suspended residue is analyzed at the City of Dunn WWTP Laboratory. Chemical and Environmental Technologies, Inc. is utilized for analyzing aluminum and iron. The wastewater for this facility is comprised of alum sludge and filter backwash which'is pumped into a lined settling basin. When the basin reaches capacity for sludge it is pumped out and land applied. At the time of inspection, the settling basin appeared to be in compliance. The outfall was easily accesible and the effluent clear.
