Thank you for your response to the Division's request for additional information. In
accordance with 15A NCAC 02H .0318, an Authorization to Construct must be applied for during the
term of the permit. A complete review of files revealed that an Authorization to Construct was not
applied for prior to the permitted expiration date (July 31, 2020). Therefore, more information is
needed to continue processing your application.
In accordance with G.S. § 143-215.1(b)(a) and 15A NCAC 2H .0105 (c)(2), an Engineering
Alternatives Analysis (EAA) must be submitted. Tuckaseigee Water and Sewer Authority last
submitted an EAA for this facility in 2015. Economic costs, best available technology, and
availability of a connection to a POTW may have changed over time. Please submit an updated
EAA to accompany your application as soon as possible so that the Division can proceed toward
the issuance of this permit. When your complete application package is received, the Division will
make every effort to complete its review as quickly as possible.
