The Compliance Evaluation Inspection was conducted by Mark Brantley, Environmental Chemist, of the Fayetteville Regional Office. The cooperation of Mrs. Donrie Dukes, Grade IV ORC, and Mr. Gary Barefoot was greatly appreciated. The facility was found to be in Compliance with permit NC0043176. As a reminder, preservation of the Waters of the State can only be achieved through consistent NPDES Permit compliance. Comments • Construction on plant upgrades is currently ongoing. DWQ understands the following items have been installed but have not been placed into service as of the date of the inspection: new influent pump station, bar screens, grit removal system, influent flow meter, equalization tank, rotary drum thickener, and new digester blowers. • Maintenance records and logbooks are very well kept. • November 2010 laboratory bench sheets were compared to the DMR and no transcription errors were found at that time.
