Dear Mrs. McVey:
On May 24, 2002, Kitty Kramer with the Division of Water Quality in the Fayetteville Regional
Office received your letter requesting that a wastewater discharge from an existing Laundromat, located
on lot 44 in Dilton Mobile Home Park, be allowed to go to the wastewater treatment plant that presently
serves Dilton Mobile Home Park and is permitted by this Office. The trailer that houses this Laundromat
contains twelve washing machines and twelve dryers and is currently not in operation. It is our
understanding that mobile homes at the park do not have washers and that there are more than twelve
homes in the park.
The Division of Water Quality hereby agrees to allow the wastewater treatment plant at Dilton
Mobile Home Park to accept the discharge from this Laundromat; however, if the wastewater treatment
plant serving Dilton Mobile Home Park fails to meet all conditions as stated in NPDES Permit
NC0022489 and begins to show any noncompliance with permit limitations, then all discharge from this
Laundromat must cease.
