Shoreline is deteriorating over time, Owner requested Armoring of
shoreline to protect his property.
We will cut in a key way at bottom end of riprap slope to aid in rip rap
stabilization, add class B rip rap as required by Duke Energy Guidelines
over a layer of Filter fabric sloped back to the shore at a 1:2 ratio max.
covering and infilling void areas along shoreline to elevation of
approx. 12-18" above current beach elevation.
Minimal to no disturbance along upper shoreside area or beach area.
Removal of some medium sized caliper trees that are failing and leaning
and in area of armoring.
Owner does not want, nor do we need to remove any plantings or trees at
property other than noted at lakes edge.

Shoreline approx 501f, Class B RipRap to be installed at a 2:1 slope
against the bank.
Work will involve key way at toe of RipRap slope and installation of
filter fabric as
required. RipRap can be installed from shoreside as access is good.
Additional budget shown for Duke Energy Permit and Admin.
To involve removal of some small caliper trees and erosion at bank.
