Proposed Activity Provide a detailed description of the proposed activity including its purpose and include the type of equipment to be used:* Plans are to replace current deck. a 13 foot section of the deck running parallel to the stream and house will be enclosed and extended 4 ft into the buffer zone with an additional 4 foot stairway with a 4 foot landing at the top. A total of 17feet of deck will extend 8 ft into the buffer zone making it 42 ft from the stream border or 8 ft into zone 2. The remainder of the deck will remain in it's current foot print and not be in the buffer zone. Gutters will be installed on the new porch so that they discharge onto a splat prior to the buffer zone. Shovels hammer power tools will be used to do construction. Digging will be done for the installation of footings and left open for the shortest time required for placement and inspection by the town of Cary.
