Dig out from behind the wall add geosynthetic fabric and back fill, replace soil and
replant the lawn. Will use a mini excavator

Will be removing old backfill dirt and adding Geo fabric at base of wall then
replacing the backfill dirt. A tree that is encroaching on seawall and endangering
structures due to erosion will be removed. Yard will be replanted with grass. This will
impact an area of about 5' behind wall and approximately 196' long. Project duration
will be about 10 days.

The existing wall is between the water and yard, will be working on 10-20-ft sections
at a time. Remove dirt, install Geo Fabric and replace dirt.

This property is the permanent residence of Betty Jo Kirby age 90, daughter Kelli
Kirby Kaylor and husband Jeffrey Kaylor are submitting this application. The seawall
has been eroding for many years and Jo's late husband Ralph Kirby was trying to
get this repaired before his death last year. It is very un-safe and Jo cannot go into
the yard near the lake without risk of falling into eroded areas and holes that are
behind the wall.
Caldwell Landscaping will be doing the work.
The pictures attached show some of the areas that are eroding into the lake. This
project is all behind the existing seawall and includes no new construction or
destruction.
