Dear Mr. Allen,
Enclosed please find a copy of the Compliance Evaluation Inspection Report
for -the inspection we conducted at the Shelby facility on March 9, 2021. Please
note that in the stormwater inspection report summary we ask that you review the
stormwater pollution prevention plan yearly and note the date it has been reviewed
in the plan. Ensure that the qualitative inspections are being completed and the
records are being kept alongside the analytical data. Additionally, ensure the
analytical monitoring is being completed per the permit and the data is made
available at the facility during the next inspection.
The report should be self-explanatory; however, should you have any questions,
please do not hesitate to contact me at (704) 663-1699 or by E-mail at
james.moore@ncdenr.gov.

Inspection Summary:
During the site inspection, it was noted that the stormwater pollution prevention plan has not been updated in a couple
years. Review the stormwater pollution prevention plan annually, make any needed changes, and note the review date in the
stormwater pollution prevention plan. It may help to create a section in the stormwater pollution plan to note these yearly
reviews and any changes made.
No qualitative data was avalible during the inspection. Ensure the qualitative inspections are completed and kept along side
the stormwater pollution prevention plan and analytical data.
The last avalible date for the analytical data was in 2019. The representative on site notified me the previous years analysis
was completed, but was kept elsewhere at another business location. Ensure the required sampling and analysis is being
completed and data is kept alongside the stormwater pollution prevention plan at the location that the data analysis was
completed for.
