RE: Sludge Survey Testing Dates
Dear Kronseder Farms, Inc:
The Division of Water Resources (Division) received your sludge survey information for many
of your farms on April 8, 2021. With the survey results, you requested an extension of the
sludge survey requirement for the lagoons at the facilities listed on the attached table. Due to the
amounts of treatment volume available, the Division agrees that a sludge survey is not needed for
most of the lagoons until December 31, 2025 (see attached table). The next sludge survey for
these lagoons should be performed before December 31, 2025.
However, due to the amount of treatment volume available, and the rate of sludge accumulation,
the Division feels that an extension is appropriate for Finisher Primary at Hanor Multiplier Farm
until December 31, 2023. The next sludge survey for this lagoon should be performed before
December 31, 2023.
