We request remission of this penalty. The facility exceeded the Weekly Geometric Mean for Fecal Colifonn for the week ending February 20, 2021. There were very heavy rains beginning on February 12- 18/2021.The flow to the W WTP beginning on 2/12/2021 and ending on 3/20/21 averaged 1.871 mgd with a maximum of 3.064 mgd. The facility increased the chlorine feed rate for disinfection. The instantaneous flow was so high with the collection of a grab sample after 9 am each day that the facility did not achieve the contact time needed for adequate disinfection. I emailed Dean Hunkele and Helen Perez our status of very high flows to the WWTP on 2/19/2021. The Fecal results came inftompliance range with the results of 2/19/2021 sample.
