Dear Zahid S. Khan:
In response to the request made in the letter from DEQ, dated December 16, 2020, the City of
Kannapolis has prepared a self -audit (which includes Part II Section E, Section F, and Section
H), draft Stormwater Management Plan, and a table explaining how each noted deficiency will be
addressed. The City will follow the implementation timelines described in the Stormwater
Management Plan. Once the City receives written NCDEQ concurrence that the submitted draft
Stormwater Management Plan is acceptable, the City will submit an NPDES MS4 permit
application within 30 days.
