The foam is caused by Seaboard Container wastewater that has been trucked to the plant since thursday of last week and it has taken until today to cause a problem on the river. Previously the wastewater has been trucked to the Hoffer Water Plant for discharge and has not caused a foaming problem at the Cross Creek Facility. It was trucked to the Cross Creek location last week because the Hoffer Plant was receiving new asphalt on their parking lot and roadway. Seaboard has currently been instructed to halt any further watewater discharges until a new site can be found and approved by Chad Ham. 1 of 1 - 6/17/2003 11:14 AM
