Skvaria, Ill - Secretary On July 21, 2014, the Wilmington Regional Office received a request to revise the approved plans for Stormwater Management Permit Number SW8 090630. The revisions include the addition of a Bentomat liner to Pond A-2. No other changes to the drainage area, built -upon area or pond design are proposed. It has been determined that a formal permit modification is not required for this proposed change. We are forwarding you an approved copy of the revised plan for your files. Please replace the old approved plan sheet CG-510 in the previously approved plan set with new approved plan sheet CG- 510 showing the new Pond A-2 section details. This plan revision also serves as notice that the expiration date of the permit is being corrected to September 8, 2020. Previous plan revisions had erroneously indicated that the expiration date was December 31, 2021. Please be aware that all other terms and conditions of the modified permit issued on March 15, 2013, remain in full force and effect. Please also understand that the approval of this revision to the approved plans for the subject State Stormwater Permit is done on a case -by -case basis. Any other changes to this project must be approved through this Office prior to construction. The issuance of this plan revision does not preclude the permittee from complying with all other applicable statutes, rules, regulations or ordinances which may have jurisdiction over the proposed activity, and obtaining a permit or approval prior to construction. If you have any questions concerning this matter, please do not hesitate to call me at (910) 796-7215. This pond, originally permitted by SW8 090630 on February 8, 2010, is not holding water as designed. To correct this, a Bentomat liner is proposed to be added to the bottom and sides of the pond. The spillway, dimensions, and elevations of the pond will remain the same. No changes are proposed to the built upon area (BUA) or drainage area to this pond. Pond A-2 is located in Onslow County, North Carolina and is in the White Oak River Basin. The bridge and base entry road in the vicinity of this pond drains to Northeast Creek. Pond A-2 was designed in accordance with the 2007 NCDENR Stormwater Best Management Practices Manual and in compliance with requirements set forth in the Session Law 2008-211 Section 2.(b)3b.
