SUBJECT: RESCINDMENT OF INDUSTRIAL USER PRETREATMENT
PERMIT NO. 1044
S&D COFFEE—MAIN FACILITY
Dear Mr. Montebello:
The Water and Sewer Authority of Cabarrus County (WSACC) is requesting the
Division to remove the industrial user pretreatment permit no. 1044 for S&D Coffee — Main
Facility from our pretreatment program. The facility installed a closed loop cooling system
for the grinders in October 2020, which significantly reduced the wastewater discharge into
the Rocky River Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant(RRRWWTP). Currently,the process
wastewater discharge from the facility is <10,000 gallons per day. WSACC will continue to
monitor the facility under our local pretreatment program.
Please find enclosed the allocation table for the RRRWWTP which has been amended
to remove S&D Coffee—Main Facility's effluent limits. If you have any questions, please do
