The Division of Water Quality has received the February 21, 2011 request for approval of a
Pretreatment Program. The Town of Wallace has successfully completed the required activities
established by the Division's Pretreatment, Emergency Response and Collection Systems (PERCS) Unit
for the development of aDivision of Water Quality approved Pretreatment Program. With consideration
of the successful completion of the required activities and the public comments received on the
delegation request, the Pretreatment Program for the Town of Wallace is approved as of December
5, 2011.
Your NPDES permit contains pretreatment program requirements in Part IV that are an
important and enforceable part of your Delegated Pretreatment Program. In particular, please review
Section C in detail as includes the specific Pretreatment Program elements and their frequency of
submittal.
The Town of Wallace's Pretreatment Program is considered to be a Full Pretreatment Program.
Full Pretreatment Programs must send in a Pretreatment Annual Report (PAR) by March 1st of every
year. The compliance status for each industrial user must be judged for each six-month period (January
1 — June 30 and July 1 — December 31), and appropriate enforcement actions initiated in accordance
with the Enforcement Response Plan approved by the Division.

the PERCS website. Please refer to our website periodically for program updates and additional
information.
