This letter is in response to the POA issued for the Bobby Ray Harris Farm, Farm#74-107, Pitt
County, North Carolina. We self -reported high freeboard at this farm on 2/22/21. As of 3/15/21 the
freeboard at this farm was 28".
The lagoon was designed with 180 days of storage. On October 14, 2020 the lagoon had 54" of
freeboard. From 10/14/20-2/22/21 there was 26.86 inches of rain recorded on the farm. Historical
averages during this same time period have been 16.83". During the 107 days from stop pump until
self -reported there was 10.03" more rainfall than average in addition to the normal operating
procedures on farm.
The pumping window for this farm opened on 3/1/21 and we started irrigating on 3/2/21. We
were able to get back in compliance as soon as we were legally able to start irrigating.
