Zimmerman: Per our conversation, we had started a standard permit form to drill a vertical closed loop, water only, geothermal system at the Chancellors residence located on the property of NC State University at 1570 Main Campus Drive, Raleigh, NC 27607. As of Thursday, August 26, we had to switch from water only fluids and instead use mixed fluids containing water and Ethanol. This was based on the manufacturers warranty and the equipment that we have changed to. We would like to start drilling as soon as we can while waiting for the permit to be issued. Morrissey Mechanical, Inc. will not introduce any of these mixed fluids into the geothermal vertical loops that are located in the ground until permit is finalized. We need your approval either in an email or letter to begin this process. Time is of the essence on this project and your cooperation would be greatly appreciated.
