I have paid the $1075 to the US Army Corps of Engineers and the NC Dept of Water Quality. They informed me to send a check for $240 to the NC division of Water and Quality.. Which I did and they returned because during this time 1 now have to do a pre -filing meeting with you. I want to stabilize my eroding shoreline and protect it from further erosion.' have the site plans and details that I will send to you after our meeting. I only have hard copies of the documents, can I mail them to you? Detail 3 indicates a proposed shoreline slope that is graded at 2:1 and reflects the estimated normal pool level and the estimated height of the subject shoreline above the normal pool level. Calculation 1— Impact Area Below Normal Pool Level (Item 10 on NCDEQ Form) Area of Impact = Shoreline Length x Depth* x Slope = 180 LF x 1ft. x 2 = 360 sq. ft. *For this calculation, an average water depth of 1 ft. has been assumed. This will produce a conservative overestimate of the stabilization impact area.
