Subject: RE: [External] NC DEQ NPDES Industrial Permit - Facility Outfall Information Updates
Good afternoon Chris.
I have updated the outfalls for each permit.
This information will appear on reports the following day.
Please note, our database accepts latitude and longitude in DD.MM.SS format.
So the outfall locations will not be as precise as the decimal coordinates you provided.

Based on the current guidance to minimize the spread of COVID-19, the Department of Environmental Quality has adjusted operations to protect the health and
safety of the staff and public. Many employees are working remotely or are on staggered shifts. To accommodate these staffing changes, all DEQ office locations are
limiting public access to appointments only. Please check with the appropriate staff before visiting our offices, as we may be able to handle your requests by phone or
email. We appreciate your patience as we continue to serve the public during this challenging time.

Ms. McCoy -
Thank you for getting back on this.
For naming the revised outfalls and keeping it to four (4) characters each, let's go the route of changing "PDO-00V to
"POOR" with exchanging the "X" for the number identified on the previous initial email. And let's do the same with "SDO-
00V with changing that to "SOOV and again exchanging the "X" for the number identified on the previous initial email.
Should you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to let me know.
Thank you.

Good morning.
Our database is limited to 4 characters, and I am not allowed to use any special characters. Hyphens are considered
special characters an causes an error when communicating with the EPA database.
Please let me know how you would like these outfalls named within this format.
