The project scope of work includes, but is not limited to the extension
of 24-inch diameter PVC/DIP sewer mains which will replace existing
aging mains which flow into the Contentnea Pump Station. All Stream
Crossings will be by Dry Bore & Jack Steel Casing to completely
prevent Stream and Buffer Impacts. This work is generally described
as the following:
• ±7,000 LF 24-inch diameter PVC/DIP Sanitary Sewer Mains
• ±150 LF 8-inch diameter PVC/DIP Sanitary Sewer Mains
• ±40 LF 10-inch diameter PVC/DIP Sanitary Sewer Mains
• 31 EA Water -tight RC Sanitary Sewer Manholes at varying depths
• Abandonment of Existing Sewer Mains with Flowable Fill Concrete
• Miscellaneous Appurtenances and Bypass Pumping Requirements
