Box 1395 Cashiers, NC 28717 Subject Property: Cider Cove Ut to Little Pine Creek [040402, 2-79-23-6-3, WSIII, C] RETURN OF APPLICATION Dear Ms. Townsend: On May 15, 2007, the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) received your application dated May 14, 2007 to impact 401inear feet of perennial stream to construct the proposed road through the site which is to be developed as a residential subdivision. Your application was unacceptable due to the following items: 1. You did not provide the proposed lot layout as overlays on the site plan. 2. You did not provide road details (i.e., two-lane, paved, gravel, etc.). 3. You did not provide detailed construction drawings for each site. 4. You did not locate all isolated or non-isolated wetlands, streams and other Waters of the State as overlays on the site plan, at a scale of no smaller than l "=50'. 5. You did not show all stream impacts including fill slopes, dissipaters, and bank stabilization on the site plan at a scale of no smaller than 1 "=50'. 6. You did not specify the percent of project imperviousness area based on estimated built-out conditions and provide an inventory of all impervious surfaces (building footprints, roads, driveways, decks, sidewalks, gravel-covered areas, etc.). 7. You did not locate all stormwater outfalls on the site plan. For these reasons your permit application is hereby considered returned. Should you choose to reapply, we strongly encourage you to arrange apse-application with DWQ staff so we may assist you and help you to submit a complete application. Additionally, once you have redesigned your project to address the problems and inadequacies with your application as it was submitted, you will need to reapply for DWQ approval.
