Comments: Permanent ground cover sufficient to restrain erosion has been established. No additional self -monitoring or self -inspections are required. Project is in compliance and released under the SPCA. Termination of coverage under the NPDES General Stormwater Permit for Construction Activities (NCGO1) must be requested by the permittee via a Notice of Termination (NOT). The NOT is available at: https://edocs.deq.nc.gov/Fonns/NCGO1-Termination. Please note that this correspondence must be uploaded as part of completing the NOT process. PLEASE NOTE per correspondence with contractor: 1) The remaining sections of silt fencing were part of a previous project. COR should remove this silt fencing. 2) Installation of Sun Shades at playground caused some vegetation damage on the perimeter. This should be repaired and revegetated. 3) Any bare areas beyond rip -rap should be stabilized. 4) Slough near restrooms should be stabilized. 5) Monitor ditch bottoms to ensure dormant bermuda is successful. 6) Monitor and revegetate as needed the corner near woods below playground. The above items, at this time, do not pose a significant risk of erosion, therefore, the closeout is issued.
