Please reference your application for Department of the Army (DA) individual permit
authorization to impact approximately 0.5 acres of DA jurisdictional wetlands associated with the
construction of a 4,000 square foot commercial building and associated parking located at 1240
Duck Road, just south of the Duck Waterfront Shops, west of HWY 12, adjacent to the Currituck
Sound, in the Town of Duck, Dare County, North Carolina. The purpose of this correspondence is
to provide you with agency comments we have received on the proposed project (attached).
Our administrative process provides you with an opportunity to propose a resolution and/or
rebut any and all objections before a final decision is made. In this regard, I would appreciate
receiving any comments that you have regarding the attached correspondence on or before August
24, 2012. If you intend to comment, please give your immediate attention to this matter so
processing of your permit can be expedited.
