NOTICE OF A CITIZENS' PROJECT UPDATE MEETING FOR THE
WIDENING OF U S 220 FROM HORSEPEN CREEK ROAD (STATE
ROAD 2182) TO N C 68 IN ROCKINGHAM COUNTY
TIP Project No R 2309AB/R 2413C Guilford & Rockingham Counties
The North Carolina Department of Transportation will hold a citizens project update
meeting on June 7 2012 at the Summerfield Fire Department Station 9 located at
7400 Summerfield Road from 5 30 7 p m
The project will widen U S 220 north of Greensboro to four lanes with a divided median
from Horsepen Creek Road (State Road 2182) to the intersection with N C 68 in
Rockingham County Construction began on May 9
NCDOT staff and representatives of project contractor Tetra Tech Construction Inc will
provide a brief overview regarding the project schedule construction phasing traffic
control detours and answer any questions
