Reason for Visit: Routine
Inspection Summary:
On March 18, 2021, MRO staff performed a compliance inspection to be able to generate a staff report for permit renewal.
The sludge is treated aerobically and pH is the primary indicator that stabilization gas occurred. Lime is added to the
sludge to achieve reduction. The primary digestor can hold up to 400,000 gallons of sludge. The sludge is treated at one
time in the primary digestor before Land Application.
The permit is scheduled to expire on June 30, 2021. There are a total of 97.1 acres in this permit. No new fields are being
added to the permit during this renewal period.

Comment: PVAR is by lime stabilization. Lime stabilization records were presented durnng the site visit.
Lime was added on 02/01/2021. The initial pHn was 13.02. At the date of the site visit, the pH is
11.99.
